Karwa Chauth is a traditional Hindu festival celebrated primarily by married women in Northern and Western India for the safety, longevity, and prosperity of their husbands. 🌙 Breaking the FastThe fast is broken only after viewing the moon. Women look at the moon through a sieve, then look at their husband's face through the same sieve. The husband then offers his wife her first sip of water and bite of food to officially end the fast.
